or Chesney cos you can say that could start tonight v utd
Here's what i wrote last year about him
Who?
Born in Warsaw
Son of a polish legend "Maciej Szczęsny"
The only polish player to win four polish league's title for four different clubs
In the Summer of 2006 Chesney signed for The Arsenal
Tho had turned out for former side Legia Warsaw aged just 15
Brady managed to snap up the youngster
He fought through a mass maul
to get him due to his performances for Legia
He went into Stevie Bould's youth system
Following a handful of appearances for the Academy during his first season,
he managed to fight off competition from Lee Butcher – who was released –
to become the number one. During the 2007-2008 season
Chesney made 23 starts as the Gunners won the Premier Academy League Group A.
He had also honed his penalty saving, with a superb one handed save against Fulham at the end of the season.
He signed his first pro contract at the close of the campaign.
Last season was a mixed bag of incredible high and unbelievable lows.
Lows
He only made 9 appearances all term after first breaking both his arms during a gym session at London Colney, and then his toe after clashing with Sanchez Watt in training.
Highs
However, he did turn out for the Reserves on 4 occasions and looked composed and solid at that level. Chesney also claimed a Prem Academy League winners medal
after Bould’s boys secured the title with a win over Spurs.Get in.
Chesney makes the bench for the first time during the Premier League match against Stoke City on 24 May 2009. His form has led to not only call ups for the Polish Under 17 and Under 19 teams, but he even replicated his father’s achievements by making the Under 21 team in a friendly against England.
Last Season
Last Season
In September he signed a brand new three-year-deal
On 20.11.09, chesney joined Bees on a month's loan.
He saved a second half penalty in his second match in the 1–0 loss to Wycombe Wanderers.
Ches completed his fifth game for Brentford on 12.12.09, where he made a number of saves to keep out Leeds scum and was given the Man of the Match.
On 22 December, Arsenal agreed to extend the loan for a end of season (basically).
How Much Do I Rate Him?
Tall, strong, commanding and a superb reader of the game,
all saves he cant hold go away from danger
he’s up quick for rebounds
and his positioning and speed across his line is quality
but then im only going from you tube and second hand knowledge

many share the view that Chesney is one of most exciting goalkeeping talents in Europe.
he seems a good kid an'all
Ches says he'll be back next year for the number one shirt.
I'm looking forward too it
after all Iker Casillas went in for real at 20
and has stayed there ever since.

Pete saidHe is going to be superb for you, At league1 level he`s fantastic just needs to work on keeping his concentration for a full 90 minutes but commands the box well ,his reflexes are brilliant and he gives confidence to his defenders...Arsene just needs to let him stay at Brentford for another season or two so that we can work the rough edges off him for you :)16/03/10
Sounds like the just want to keep him.Give him 1 or 2 more years and then i believe you will see him playing week in week out for arsenal, he needs more experience and chucking him in the 1st team would be too quick for a goalkeeper who has mainly played the likes of MK Dons and Wycombe instead of Manchester United and Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger would be making the right choice by loaning him to us for next season as he will play constantly and have a chance of the play-offs 16/03/10
