Play them or lose them

Are we holding back careers with having a large squad. The competing for places is so good that the bench v everton was RVP rosicky walcott gibbs eboue denilson and chesney all full capped internationals bar denilson.

Vela was seen in bar in madia vale over the on friday night guess he knew he had weekend off.
"Carlos vela is in here on the beers with his girlfriend Imogen Thomas"
Defo not a tranny this time.
But you can see why he's putting on wieght and out of form.

With JET also he's too good for the reserves (if you haven't seen his goal from last week) they are good enough to be playing week in week out for most teams and has had only had three sub appearances this year.
With us not using the carling cup as a B team torney, it does leave you wondering if these guy are gona make a career at arsenal or go elsewhere.
Young guns blog touched on the point about our youth developing together and the use of barca b (or barca athletic if you like.)
the best example of this concept is Barcelona. The Spanish giants make sure that their youngsters are constantly playing and progressing with each other, creating a loyalty to the club and their team mates. After the youth team they are placed in Barcelona B who play in the Spanish Segunda League playing competitive football week in, week out with each other , developing as a team, as footballers and as human beings. The rewards are there for all to see, with the majority of the Barcelona first team consisting of previous youth and B team players.

Now barca b has been running in some sort of form since the 40's so obviously would be almost impossible for us to set up. without pretty much taking over a lower league team.

But it does beg the question why havent we done this before?

Surely it should be put before the league that reserve team should be allowed to play in the same league system as the A team.

Afobe recently gone on loan. And doing well had a couple of goals and an assist v rotherham.

Fabianski secures the points

A pain in the arse of night not only was there hardly any streams going but once I finally found of some quality (thanks to the twitter) I'd missed the goal. Had to wait until the second half to see it again via my goal highlight page. Thank fuck.

So we looked alit stronger and determined to win this match shows how much Sunday hurt to the boys. The passing looked sharp and crisp for the first 30 mins while we took control of the game but wolves seemed to up their work rate and we couldn't get the ball out our half. Fabianski worked hard to keep them out. This save spring to mind flick on at near post Lukasz scrabble across his line just to flick it off cunts hunts head.Towards the end of the half we started to get the ball back. but to be honest I was hoping for half time.

Here's what FIFA says a dangerous tackle is. on Twitpic
via @Olegunner FIFA's dangerous tackle

Henry decided to try too break andreys leg. This guy is really on some mission to break as many legs as possible this year. Please someone take note he's already probably ended bobby Zamora career this season. Gets sent off in the next game and he comes back and he's still doing the same studs up eyes closed tackles.

Whets the difference please and not even a free kick or yellow???

Looking at the goals Lukasz quick throws helps us be direct just what the gaffer had asked for.

"We might find a way to play a bit more direct in some situations"

Right thats your lot
oh and Fellaini got sent for everton first game back so there's a relief.

November strikes again

Over 11 years now and our record is always dismal.

I really thought would be different this year thinking that with all the injuries at the beginning of the season would have rest like nicky theo rvp but while they been away chamakh and andrey have become knackered chamakh was running on empty in the game yesterday.

The players who have come back i think have been rushed back
theo only came back last week yet he supposed to play to two games in a week.
Cesc seems this hamstring injury is on going and he missed 27 passes against Newcastle, his worst ever tally in a Prem. I'm wondering if it would be better if he went for the surgery got rid all the scar tissue and came back fire on all cylinders.

Why arent we using more of the squad the likes of JET, Vela and landsbury?

Even eastmond tho he looked out of his depth on Wednesday and didn’t look great v toon in the cup.

Had a feeling the carling cup victory would come back to bite us and it has.

Sorry for the lack of blogging have been taking one for the team as since we’d went on winning streak I hadn’t blogged and didn’t want to jinx it.
